We celebrate the cruising route and kayaking areas of this tour, which shows its efforts to bring travelers to different unspoiled areas and pass by most famous islands and islets that Gulf of Tonkin has to offer.  This tour is a good suggestion to travelers who wish a comfortable overnight cruise trip to Halong Bay, Lan Ha Bay, and chance to kayak as well as seeing Cat Ba Island.
 
 
Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay (L, D)
 
Am:     We pick you up from your hotel at around 8h15 (we may do several picks up) for 3.5 hour driving North East; the bus ride will take you over the Red River and through the country side of our second biggest delta to reach Halong Bay.
 
You would be first dropped off at Tuan Chau International Marina – harbor of Halong’s biggest island. From which you will be tendered to our Halong Phoenix Cruiser, welcome drinks would be immediately served for your refreshment while we hand over your cabin’s key.  
 
Pm:     When you are putting all of your stuffs into your cabin, our boat starts gliding out to the centre of the World Heritage Site. Your lunch, at the boat’s restaurant, is would be served with fresh local seafood, but vegetable menu is always available at your request.
 
    From the marina area, our cruiser passes by Dog Head and Swan Islands, Ba Hang Floating villages (with floating houses), Incense Burner then Thumb Islands before reaching Surprising (Sung Sot) Cave.
 
    At around 15h00, our boat will anchored for a short tender ride from the middle of the bay to an island for your visit to famous Sung Sot Cave. The cave visiting will take you about 1 hour (walking inside the limestone cave), then we tender you to visit and swim on Titop Island, which is not far from the cave. Here you can still challenge yourself by climbing up to the top, for a panoramic view, before heading back to swim on its sandy beach.
 
As the sun sets over the bay, we head back to our cruise and relax. Coffee, tea and fruits will be available on the sundeck or you can order your favorite drink from our bar.
 
Halong Phoenix Cruiser keeps cruising to Coconut anchorage area, which is away from the crowded centre - where most other boats stay, for our overnight escape.
 
Dinner would be served with typically local seafood. You are then free to either drink or experience squid fishing before heading to your bed.
 
Day 2: Heritage Site – Lan Ha Bay – Cat Ba Island (B, L, D)
 
Am:     You would love to rise a bit early for a breath taking and practicing Tai Chi on sundeck, the stunning vista of the serene bay is always best experience of staying overnight on boat. Today, you would go further to other side of Halong by another boat, paddle and play in Lan Ha Bay then end up the day at an Eco Lodge in Cat Ba.
 
    We start rock-n-roll right after your breakfast by getting on a kayaking support boat which come from Cat Ba Island, and travel to new corners of the bay.
 
    Along the cruising way, we go through famous Frog and Chop Stick Islands as well as Cua Van Floating Village. The boat will stop at around 10h00, and then it is your paddling time. Before making a very first stroke, our kayaking expert will show you all the useful techniques and safety guidelines to have fun on your kayak. As being guided, you will have a round trip paddling to different corners, passing fishing villages, beaches and lagoons.
 
    You properly paddling for about 2 hours then break on a private beach, where you are free to swim or just have sunbath… all up to you. We have lunch here, on the beach.
 
Pm:     After lunch, you can keep swimming or just relax. This afternoon we have about 2 more hours paddling to see other places, by now you are a kayaking expert.
 
    It is depending on tidal permission (4 meters difference), for our guide to lead you through Ba Do Cave with your kayak, to see a lagoon inside, and it would be unforgettable experience of your lifetime. Otherwise, passing by this area is worth traveling that far.
 
There is a famous Turtle Island, which travelers on other tours can only imagine. Lucky groups may witness a family of Cat Ba Langur (Golden-headed Langur) – endemic primate eating leafs on trees nearby.
 
Support boat will pick you up at the end of a kayaking route, and take you to Beo Pier of Cat Ba National Park. We will pass by Monkey Island and Cai Beo Fishing Village before hitting Cat Ba.
 
Hop on our bus and drive to Cat Ba Eco Lodge, we arrive at the lodge around 17h00. You have dinner and overnight here.
 

Day 3: Cat Ba – Hai Phong - Hanoi (B, L)
 
Am:     After your breakfast, options for this morning arise to:
 
o    Relax and do some reading at the lodge
o    Rent a motorbike (at your expense) from the lodge and drive to see the town
o    Stick to our original itinerary: be guided to hike Cat Ba National Park (2 hours hiking) after a short bus ride from the lodge. Physical reward and magnificent view!
 
Cat Ba National Park is 30 minutes drive from your lodge, the hiking route is now quite easy as it was well-prepared for all visitors so active travelers usually find it too easy. But fresh atmosphere and panoramic view from its highest point – Ngu Lam Peak (Ranger’s guard point) is a rewarding.
Pm:    After lunch at the lodge, we take 45 minutes bus ride from the lodge to reach Cai Vieng Pier, where we take a hydrofoil boat to Hai Phong City, and then 2 more hours drive back to Hanoi.
 
Trip ends at your hotel around 17h30.
 
Tips:     We advise you to travel light. You should leave your big suitcases at your hotel, your receptionist would be delighted to keep your stuffs in their storage until you come back.

Child from 05 to under 12 years old- sharing cabin with parents without extra bed: 75 % charge
Child over 12 years old: 100% charge as an adult.
